Call for Workshops

In the two days preceding the DCC 2004 Conference, i.e., 17 and 18 July 2004, there will be the opportunity for half-day workshops on specialised topics in Design Computing and Cognition. These workshops have proven to provide a lively forum in previous conferences.

The workshops that succeed are those that provide considerable opportunity for discussion and are generally not run as mini conferences.

Proposals for workshops should contain the following information and occupy no more than 1000 words:

1. Workshop Title
2. Chair(s)
3. Committee of 3 to 5 people (preferably with international representation)
4. Goals of the workshop
5. Workshop format
6. Method of admission (e.g., abstract, resume)

Proposals will be reviewed by a panel selected from the Conference Vice-Chairs.

Proposal for workshops are invited now with a deadline of 19 February 2004. Proposals should be sent to Andy Dong in the format outlined above.
