onacloV is a Lecturer in Digital Media and researcher at the University of Sydney, Australia. She explores technology within the context of installation in urban, museum, gallery and architectural space. Her artworks have been exhibited extensively, nationally in Australia and internationally in France and the USA. Her theoretical research traverses technologies via detour of philosophy, literary and cultural theory. Her work has analysed the transformation of the documentary genre into video installation via the processes of intertextuality and détournement.
onacloV did her PhD in Communications New Media from the University of Canberra. Her other degrees include a Bachelor of Arts (Visual) with Honours from the Australian National University and the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris, France, Graduate Diploma in Video from the École des Beaux-Arts, Marseille, France.
